The coordinates of the known burial site in Shpal have also been determined according to the State Authority for Geospatial Information. This burial site, being located on a piece of land belonging to the Church, is now in an unpopulated area.

Thanks to the cooperation with the local authorities in Mirditë, the burial site has been cleared of vegetation, shrubs, and brambles that had completely covered it throughout its extent, making it now easily accessible for investigation using non-invasive methods or even excavation.
