Excerpt from the testimony of former political prisoner Fatos Lubonja given for AIDSSH. Fatos Lubonja, born on 27 April 1951, Tirana. He was arrested on 15 January 1974, on the charge of “agitation and propaganda against the people’s power” and was sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment. In 1979, he was re-sentenced to 16 years of imprisonment. He served his sentence in Spaç, from 1974 until March 1990.
