Excerpt from the testimony of former political prisoner Ilir Malindi given for AIDSSH. Ilir Malindi, born on 29 August 1958. He was arrested on 10 May 1978 on the charge of “agitation and propaganda against the people’s power”. He was held for 4 months in investigation detention, while the sentence was handed down on 15 August 1978. He was sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment. He entered prison in October 1978 and was released in October 1982.
