Excerpt from the testimony of former political prisoner Iljas Kajo given for AIDSSH. Iljas Kajo, born on 4 March 1948, in Lapardha, Berat. He was arrested on the charge of “agitation and propaganda” on 27 January 1977. He remained in investigation detention for six months. He was tried on 20 May 1977. He served his sentence in Spaç prison. He was released on 30 May 1985.
