Works by Pre-University Students Participating in the National Competition “Learning from the Past – Acting for the Future”

During 2024–2025, the Authority cooperated with the Council of Europe Office in Tirana within the framework of the project “Strengthening Education for Democratic Citizenship in Albania”, funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), as part of the initiative “Learning from the Past – Acting for the Future.”

In the schools engaged in the Council of Europe project, a reading tour was organized featuring books prepared by the Authority for Pre-University Education, along with screenings of the documentary “3 Days of Freedom,” produced by AIDSSH with the support of the Council of Europe.

As part of this initiative, students were invited to create artistic works, which were included in the national competition “Learning from the Past – Acting for the Future,” held on July 8, 2025, by AIDSSH in cooperation with the Council of Europe Office in Tirana and the Ministry of Education and Sports.

The works presented here are the result of students’ engagement, talent, and reflection on the past, serving as a living message for building a more democratic future.
