Re-sentencing
Resumption After the Spaç Revolt
After the violent suppression of the Spaç Revolt, many of the political prisoners were subjected to arrests and trials where they received new sentences (re-sentencing) that were added to the years of punishment they were already serving in the Spaç labor camp until the day the revolt began. Five trials were held, during which approximately 70 political prisoners were re-sentenced.
*In this case, the term 're-sentencing' refers to the punishments given to individuals who were already serving prison sentences based on previous decisions, including the new sentences of the prisoners from Section No. 303 of Spaç, whether or not related to the revolt.
The First Group of the Re-sentenced on May 24, 1973
By Decision No. 1, dated May 24, 1973, a trial was held for the 12 individuals arrested after the revolt. In this trial, 8 political prisoners were re-sentenced and 4 were sentenced to death by firing squad.
The judicial panel was composed of:

Dashnor Estref Kazazi, born in 1941 in Tirana. He was sentenced by Decision No. 5, dated March 30, 1971. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 1, dated May 24, 1973, to 25 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Syrja Estref Lame, born in 1935, in Rembel-Korçë. He was sentenced by Decision No. 18, dated February 18, 1970. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 1, dated May 24, 1973, to 25 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Paulin (Lush) Pjetër Vata, born in 1933 in Oblik-Shkodër. He was sentenced by Decision No. 128, dated October 25, 1968. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 1, dated May 24, 1973, to 25 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Luan Qemal Burimi, born in 1937 in Psar i Zi, Fier. He was sentenced by Decision No. 39, dated June 2, 1969. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 1, dated May 24, 1973, to 25 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Sami Selim Dangëllia, born in 1920 in Menkulas, Korçë. He was sentenced by Decision No. 6, dated February 13, 1960. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 1, dated May 24, 1973, to 25 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Jorgo Spiro Papa, born in 1941 in Trembul, Sarandë. He was sentenced by Decision No. 3, dated February 4, 1963. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 1, dated May 24, 1973, to 25 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Luan Habib Koka, born in 1935 in Vlorë. He was sentenced by Decision No. 5, dated January 25, 1961. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 1, dated May 24, 1973, to 25 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Hodo Isuf Sokoli, born in 1930 in Shkodër. He was sentenced by Decision No. 34, dated September 10, 1966. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 1, dated May 24, 1973, to 25 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.

The Second Group of the Re-sentenced on June 30, 1973
By Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, a trial was held for those arrested after the revolt. In this trial, 20 political prisoners were defendants, of whom 16 were re-sentenced and 4 others were declared innocent due to lack of evidence.
The judicial panel consisted of:

Bedri Azem Çoku, born in 1949 in the village of Nucias, Lushnje. He was sentenced by Decision No. 14, dated August 27, 1969. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 23 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Jonuz Selim Nurja (Norja), born in 1926 in Shijak. He was sentenced by Decision No. 119, dated September 18, 1972. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 22 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Mersin Adem Vlashi, born in 1938 in the village of Lis, Burrel. He was sentenced by Decision No. 2, dated January 28, 1967. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 16 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 4 years.
Tomorr Nuredin Allajbeu, born in 1941 in Peshtan, Berat. He was sentenced by Decision No. 73, dated October 14, 1969. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 15 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Murat Jaho Marta, born in 1942 in Bërzeshtë, Librazhd. He was sentenced by Decision No. 6, dated January 24, 1967. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 23 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Pal Gjok Marku, born in 1930 in Manati, Lezhë. He was sentenced by Decision No. 7, dated July 1, 1969. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 25 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Neim Bejo Pashaj, born in 1947 in Dorëz, Tepelenë. He was sentenced by Decision No. 8, dated July 22, 1966. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 16 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 3 years.
Haxhi Ali Bena, born in 1938 in Filat. He was sentenced by Decision No. 103, dated July 7, 1962. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 25 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Feti Hasan Kumanaku, born in 1945 in Kallmet, Fier.He was sentenced by decisionNo. 53, dated May 3, 1968. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 25 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Qemal Asllan Demiraj, born in 1948 in the village of Vajzë, Vlorë. He was sentenced by Decision No. 17, dated June 9, 1967. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 15 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Ndrec Ndue Çoku, born in 1929 in [place missing]. He was sentenced by Decision No. 5, dated February 10, 1971. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 20 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Shuaip Seit Ibrahimi, born in 1928 in Shkodër. He was sentenced by Decision No. 52, dated December 20, 1966. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 17 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Hasan Adem Hibo, born in 1938 in Poloskë, Korçë. He was sentenced by Decision No. 31, dated November 25, 1966. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 20 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 3 years.
Dervish Tofik Sulo, born in 1927 in Spathar, Filat. He was sentenced by Decision No. 110, dated August 3, 1961. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 16 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years."
Elez Yke Hoxha, born in 1940 in Tropojë. He was sentenced by Decision No. 100, dated December 23, 1971. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 29, dated June 30, 1973, to 16 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 3 years.

The Third Group of the Re-sentenced on July 13, 1973
By Decision No. 34, dated July 13, 1973, a trial was held for those arrested after the revolt. In this trial, 15 political prisoners were defendants, of whom 13 were re-sentenced, and 2 others were declared innocent due to lack of evidence.

Rexhep Qerim Lazri, born in 1949 in Peshkopi. He was sentenced by Decision No. 56, dated July 28, 1971. Sali Mani Çuni, born in 1932 in Letaj, Kukës. He was sentenced by Decision No. 31, dated August 26, 1968. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 34, dated July 13, 1973, to 20 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 5 years.
Ulsi Refat Pashollari, born in 1944 in Çaushli, Korçë. He was sentenced by Decision No. 46, dated December 10, 1964. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 34, dated July 13, 1973, to 14 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 3 years.
Nuri Mirash Stepa, born in 1944 in Tirana. He was sentenced by Decision No. 22, dated May 31, 1967. For his participation in the Spaç Uprising, he was sentenced by Decision No. 34, dated July 13, 1973, to 13 years of imprisonment, confiscation of property, and loss of electoral rights for 3 years.
